Why sign up as a patient?

If you’ve recently injured your knee, we recognise this is a challenging time. We’re here to provide practical information about your healing and support your recovery.

This website provides a forum for you to better understand your knee injury, and how to best recover from your anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear or rupture. We offer guidance to help you and your treating clinicians determine which method of healing will suit you best:

  1. Rehabilitation alone
  2. Cross Bracing Protocol, with rehabilitation
  3. Surgery – ACL reconstruction or repair, with rehabilitation

We want you to understand the options available for you. We offer practical tips, resources and patient education to help you have a more informed discussion with your doctor or physiotherapist.

The information in this website is not a substitute for personalised healthcare advice, nor does it contain all the relevant facts. Your healthcare professional will consider your individual injury and personal circumstances to assist you in your recovery.

This website can provide you with support, tips to help you optimise your healing, guidance on your rehabilitation exercises, and answer frequently asked questions.

We can also link you in with a community of patients, just like you, who have injured their knee and are now well on their way to recovery. We would also love to hear how your own recovery journey goes. Heal well.
