They consist of a new approach to assessing ACL injuries, which worsening the injury during the assessment, and a systematic treatment process, that is applied if the assessment determines surgery should not be the first course of action

1. Do not straighten your leg much
2. Don't let someone pull on your knee
3. Ice the back of it
